Google released the Google Takeout service that lets you merge two Google + Plus accounts together, and or export your information to multiple Google Services. Now, you can connect your Google Plus account with Blogger to easily share your posts and also gain recognition for your work on social media. A share box will automatically appear when you publish a post, with which you can instantly share your Blog Posts with the public. I will now go through the steps to do just that.

What I did was merge two Blogger accounts together, allowing me to use the google plus profile and automatically add the author link to google plus for the Blogger Blog account. This also allows all posts on the Blogger Blog to auto post into Google Plus. This makes for a much cleaner process and everything on the blog is much nicer looking. It also would have seo advantages as well getting rid of clutter and a more efficient linking system.

This merging of accounts only works if the names are very similar on all involved. It is meant to streamline those like me who had a few blogs (one of which I forgot about) that need to be rained in. A couple I hadnt posted on in two years. It also helps to have the same email address for each account or blog.

Under your Blogger profiles go to your dashboard and click on the COG ICON SPOKE ROUND THNG on the right. A drop down menu will appear and click on connect to Google +. You will then see a comparison of your current crappy profile from years ago, you know the one with the bad hair picture, compared to your modern updated and cool looking Google + profile. You then choose if you want to merge, hence doing away with bad hair profile.

You will have the option if you want later to go back in time to old profile. Just click the COG ICON SPOKE ROUND THNG and revert.
