Carter Hargrave is the founder tenth degree black belt of American Combat Kempo Karate (Kempo is Japanese for law of the fist) and has the title of Grandmaster for that style. Hargrave recently received his official notification of promotion and certification that both of his black belt rankings in Kung Fu and Ju Jitsu were being upgraded to eighth degree Grandmaster status making him the only instructor in the State of Oklahoma to ever achieve the three time rank honor
In addition to the above styles Hargrave has earned black belt /instructor certifications in Arnis Stick and Knife fighting, Tae Kwon Do, Goshin Jutsu, and the Bruce Lee style of Jeet Kune Do that he learned from an original Bruce Lee school student.
Hargrave is a full time martial arts teacher and author of three martial arts books, “Japanese Kempo Karate Training Manual”, “Entrance to Secrets” and the international best seller “The Original Jeet Kune Do Training Manual.”
