Want To Know What Needs To Be Fixed Ask A Liberal

I love liberals. They have some great ideas. They think unconventionally, and with great passion. They can sniff out a problem and zero in on what the end result should look like. Now in the perfect world that would be the end of the story. But as in life, all things are not quite as they should be. What we have now in current society especially in government is that the social elite are under the impression that they have all the answers and that they do not need any input from the more middle of the road thinkers. This arrogance if you will has led good ideas into the world of unforeseen consequences, and many times complete failure in the implementation of the ideas and concepts.

Liberals think in a different way that must be understood. Their thoughts are passion above anything else. This passion serves them well when zeroing in on a problem that needs attention or a subject that needs re direction, but for the most part fails them when it comes to the logistics. The failure of modern liberalism is in that the call is “my way or no way” “This is the only way and its the right thing to do.” This way of thinking is divisive, arrogant, and is fraught with un intended ramifications.

Why cant we all get along. If you want some good ideas ask a liberal. If you want to make these ideas work ask a conservative how to get it done. No social group has all the answers. In the past great successes have come from the cooperation of social groups working together for a common goal. Today this cooperation is totally absent.

What does this lack of working together and lack of diversity in todays social and governmental workings mean. Well in a term it means failure of most actions. This current arrogance also leads to blindness as to the facts of how well any program, action, or service is proceeding. Arrogance and ignorance of a situation is a pure recipe for disaster.

There is also another problem. Blaming others for failure, as well as justifying bad behavior with previous bad behavior. What ever happened to just do the right thing and take responsibility for your own actions. If the right thing is not done and the buck doesnt stop here, no great thing can be accomplished.

On a specific topic, I am a supporter of universal healthcare. It was done as I was speaking of above without the input from other social view persons, and its viability is currently  in great peril. The unforeseen consequences are being ignored like they are going to go away.

If more conservative ideas had been put into the plan there would have been a plan for what is happening and will happen according to experts and doctors. Huge amounts of doctors are already not going to accept new patients as they are overloaded. So you may have insurance and no where to be treated. Another one is that most large companies will dump their employees on the government plan and just pony up the fine and save huge.

So in the end the poor are the ones who get hurt in an attempt to help, and the cost of a broken program thats not even fully implemented is astronomical, and the IRS will be sending bills to surprised citizens.

Isnt it time for cooperation. This country has not been this divided since the civil war. Where do I stand in all of this. I am in the middle. Outcast by both sides.

If you want a good idea ask a Liberal. Want it to work have a conservative implement it.
